Money Saving Tip: Homemade Sugar Scrub

I am so excited about this post! I saw a guest post by Ricci Explains It All on All That Glitters this morning about homemade sugar scrub. I’ve been wanting to try this out for awhile but never thought I had the ingredients. Then, TADA! Ricci did in face explain it all.
What You’ll Need:
-Sugar
-Dawn Dish Soap
-Body Wash/Scrub
I changed the recipe a little bit because the Dawn we had didn’t have Olay in it. That’s why I added the body scrub to mine.
The directions are super simple. Fill up a bowl with sugar & then add dish soap & body scrub until you get the consistency that you want.
I happened to have some Cherry Blossom scrub (very low scrubbing power, not enough for me) that I added in! The smell of the Cherry Blossom mixed with the Dawn is to die for!! I tried it out on my hands since I’ve a couple dry spots on my fingers and it scrubbed it right off. Left my hands feeling pretty smooth too.
I’m excited to make some more & try different body washes too.

I made body scrubs for Christmas gifts last year and they were a big hit! I like the idea of putting Dawn in it too! Also, wanted to let you know I have an open Blog Hop going on, and I am still looking for co-hosts for next week and I’d love to have you co-host! Check it out at the link below if you’d like!
