Sponsored Tweets Review

A few months ago, I did a mini-series on ‘Using the Internet to Earn Rewards‘ and one of my posts featured ‘Sponsored Tweets‘. Be sure to read the original post for all the details on how the program works.

I just wanted to quickly update you on how impressed I am with Sponsored Tweets. It’s a super easy way to tweet advertisements for brands & get paid for them. You set your price and they send you offers. If you accept the offer, you write a tweet with the required elements and when they approve it, they’ll tweet it out for you.
I took a 2 month blogging break around the holidays so I wasn’t really keeping up with my offers but I did them when I could.
About 2 weeks ago, I hit the magic $50 mark. I was getting paid anywhere from .75ยข to .95ยข per tweet (the more followers I had on Twitter, the higher my suggested price per tweet was) so it took me a few months to get there. $50 was the magic mark for me because after you reach $50, there’s not a $2 fee to transfer your earnings. I know $2 isn’t much of a fee but if I’ve earned it, I want to keep all of it.
The process to transfer earnings was SUPER SIMPLE! All I had to do was submit my PayPal account info and voila! the $50 was transferred. Instantly. No waiting. I immediately got an email from  PayPal saying that the money was available in my account. Just like that.

You can join the Sponsored Tweet program through my referral link. This will get you signed up easily & will help me & my family out too ๐Ÿ™‚
They are about to make a big switch to IZEA, a new program which includes other social media platforms & I’m really excited! You can go ahead and sign up with IZEA using my referral link.

PS-this is NOT a review sponsored by Sponsored Tweets, I just like them that much ๐Ÿ™‚

oooh, this sounds fun! I don’t have many followers yet, though. Do your friends get annoyed with these ad tweets? I’m going to check out your referral link! THanks for sharing!

Dawn, thanks for reading my review! They recommend that you tweet 3 personal tweets for every 1ad & they’ll even track your ratio for you! I tweet a lot from my blog’s Twitter so my ratio is about 5% right now. You’ll get more offers the lower your ratio is because companies want to know that you’re interacting with your followers.

Yes, it’s hard though, isn’t it?? ๐Ÿ™‚ Did you sign up for just IZEA or did you sign up for Sponsored Tweets as well? I’m not sure exactly when they’re launching IZEA. Also, check your spam folder and make sure nothing went there instead of your inbox!
