Weekend & Garden Update

Happy Sunday, readers!

I hope this post finds you feeling rested, recharged, and ready to face the coming week immersed in the love of Christ.

First of all, today I’m 32 weeks pregnant…it’s seriously flying by!! I can’t believe that in 2 months or less (or more) we’ll have sweet Baby A2 in our arms =) ahh!

We had a great few days this weekend with some quality family time. My husband’s company has entered into their summer schedule so he has every other Friday off (YAY!). We spent the morning cleaning up the house then went shopping at my favorite store…Marshall’s!! We definitely racked up some good deals.

Lee got a pair of swimming trunks and a nice, button-up black shirt for our maternity shoot, and a pair of sunglasses for $37 total. Baby A got a SUPER CUTE Black/Yellow Polka Dot dress and a new book for $12 total. The book is appropriately titled “Don’t Touch That, Do Touch That!” which totally describes the stage of life we’re in right now 😉

On Friday afternoon, we traveled to a local strawberry farm where we were able to go out and pick our own strawberries! It was so fun even though Baby A wasn’t too interested in the picking so much as she was in the eating of the berries.

“The LORD will indeed give what is good, and the land will yield it’s harvest.” Psalm 85:12

Not only did we enjoy some berry picking, we’ve been working diligently in our garden. You can read all about our planting in this post. We planted everything about a month ago and I’m happy to say that all of our plants have sprouted and are doing well =)

We are serious garden novices so this is very exciting news! I can’t wait for harvest time!!

L-Carrots R-Squash & Zucchini
Tomatoes
Corn
Peppers or Jalepenos (can’t remember which pot is which)
Various Berry bushes that we’ll transplant eventually

Blessings,

Molly
